Teacher

Brandon Lewin is a Qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher.

Brandon was trained at The Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Healthcare, and Society at The University of Massachusetts Medical School, The Mindfulness Center at Brown University, and Myrna Brind Center for Mindfulness (Jefferson Health).

Brandon has practiced meditation for over 20 years and is a devoted yoga practitioner.  It’s critical for me to maintain a daily practice; I meditate between 45 and 90 minutes every day.  I practice yoga daily also– attending classes at The Prancing Peacock most days.  Personal practice is perhaps the most important element of being an MBSR instructor.

Seven to ten-day silent retreats were required in the rigorous training curriculum at UMass.  And Brandon continues to go to retreats every year.

Brandon started Ease and Lightness Mindfulness in 2014.  At that time his primary focus was mindfulness in the workplace, and he has offered mindfulness programs at over a dozen corporations including PVH Corp and Colgate-Palmolive.
