Supporting People Experiencing cancer

and the professionals who care for them

In 1979, MBSR was born in the basement of a medical facility at the University of Massachusetts.  Today, tens of thousands of scientific papers include the word mindfulness. It’s one of the quiet revolutions in modern medicine.  MBSR is offered in well over 700 medical centers worldwide.

We are passionate about introducing patients to mindfulness because of our own experience practicing  it during active treatment.  At the same time we recognize the weight of moral injury and burnout providers bear.

We collaborate with physicians and nurses to set in place a program which can be embedded organically in each setting: in person or virtually.

A vital care team includes those with the capacity to turn towards the present moment with a beginners mind and an open heart.

Within every health care practitioner lives the Wounded One; in every patient, every sick and suffering human being abides a powerful Inner Healer. These are the gifts of being born into this world.
